I have personally had no issues with parking. In the back is a trolley car that practically begs you to hop on and take loads of photos. There is also ample space around the garden to "picnic" and you can bring your own blankets or use one of theirs. The spot is so cute! It is beautifully decorated with different types of tables and tea lights and greenery. Averaged together, we arrive at 2.5 stars and rounding up seemed fair. I rated three stars simply because Customer Service = zero stars for me. Both times were at the request of a friend who wanted to celebrate a special occasion here. I've been to Malibu Wines & Beer Garden twice now. They have valet parking for $6 and I don't know why - prefer if they didn't unless they need it on the weekends. It honestly really brings down the caliber and atmosphere when guests are encouraged to walk in with boxes of pizza or bags of food from the local grocery store. Lastly, I really wish they'd at least offer some food.a pre-made cheese and fruit tray or something simple to store behind the bar however no food is sold on-site. I was a bit surprised and then went online to check if BevMo carried the bottle - however I did find that the very same bottle was priced at $15 below what I was quoted - from the very same location. When I requested a price on purchasing a bottle of a red wine that I really liked, the person behind the counter fumbled quite a bit, seemed confused and ultimately finally quoted the wrong price. The wine selection is nice and mostly focused (obviously) on their own wines. The menus online via QR code are not very clearly written and the staff weren't very helpful either. It was my first time visiting last week and it wasn't very clear where to go or what to do. The staff here were OK - honestly not very welcoming or friendly as I would expect as they essentially just have to pour drinks. I spend a great deal of time up north at the vineyards and pricing here hits a bit higher but it's in the middle of the San Fernando Valley so doesn't really justify (ie you're not looking out to the vineyards where the actual grapes are grown). The pricing was just OK leaning on the higher side of things given the setting of open seating and counter served. I'd come back again however I do hope management reads through the reviews for helpful tips from a customer that could become dedicated. The setting is very inviting and relaxing. Love having this location and setting on the valley side - especially in West Hills. Malibu Wines is ALL about $$$ vice customer service OR safety. However, not only did they steal the $5, but we still have not received ANY of our $80 deposit back! I will now have to file credit card FRAUD charges against them. Extremely rude, unhelpful and Beyond ridiculous! What kind of establishment will not refund your deposit when given more than 2 weeks notice AND we had an extremely valid reason to cancel. They still stated they would keep our $5 b/c it is their "policy". I told them we would NOT be rescheduling due to their nonchalant attitude toward a serious COVID issue. They said we can "reschedule at another time" and apply the $5 when/if we rescheduled. Kendall and Taylor stated that their policy is to keep $5 of the deposit no matter what the reason for cancelling AND they did not care if we could not attend due to COVID. As soon as we found out we would not be going to CA I emailed Malibu Wines and explained the situation and ask them to refund our deposit. I had put down a $80 deposit for our reservation. I have Malibu wines over 2 weeks notice of our need to cancel the reservation. We needed to cancel our reservations due to a member of our party testing positive for COVID.
